Hillel is one of the quieter spots among Ramat Gan’s central areas, which is exactly where its charm lies. It has a distinct residential character without the "busy thoroughfare" feel, and parts of it offer a nice green touch near Bar-Ilan Park. It’s a great choice for families or anyone wanting to be central without the constant sensory overload. The downside is that many buildings are older, and you’ll definitely notice the wave of urban renewal projects on certain streets.
