A small neighborhood in the northeast of the city, near the Neve Sharet neighborhood and Ramat HaHayal. Established in the 1990s on the site of a former municipal plant nursery, hence its name ("The Nursery"). HaMishtala is characterized by modern low-to-medium-rise construction and a young, upwardly mobile population. The atmosphere in HaMishtala is quiet and community-oriented, somewhat isolated from the bustling city feel. Because of its small size, the neighborhood is very tight-knit and beloved by its residents, and it is popular among high-tech workers from nearby Ramat HaHayal and Atidim.
